HA! You’re hilarious!

You should join the Junior Improv + Sketch Comedy Workshop, where you’ll hone your improv and comedic acting skills, create your own humorous character monologues and sketches (as in Studio C), and perform in our end of the year Comedy Showcase.

In this two semester class, you’ll experience the freedom to risk creatively in a FUN environment as I guide you step by step (individually and in groups) to create sketches, monologues, and stand-up comedy routines from your own improvisation. Each class will begin with improv games to foster imaginative thinking and group bonding.

Hopefully, by the end of the year, you’ll discover how to use your unique talents to bring joy and laughter into the world – which you’ll display in the classroom, the Comedy Showcase, and even your own home!

NOTE: If you’ve already taken this class, it’s totally fine to take it again, since each year we will be working on NEW comedy content to perform in the end of the year Comedy Showcase!  AND! If you find you LOVE this sort of thing, then when you’re in 9th grade, you can join the STUDIO E! Sketch Comedy Workshop!

CLASS DETAILS:
– 6th-8th Grade (age range approximately 11-14 years old)
– Students expected to attend rehearsals during the Tech Week before the Comedy Showcase performances.  Exact days and times TBD. 

TUITION: $260 per semester  paid to EUREKA!
