Using Saxon Math 8/7 or Algebra ½ for 2nd year students, this course reviews arithmetic calculation, measurements, geometry, and introduces pre-algebra concepts.

Students will specifically learn about adding, subtracting, and multiplying fractions, equivalent fractions, the metric system, repeating decimals, scientific notation, Pi, graphing inequalities, multiplying algebraic terms, and other pre-algebra concepts. Set them up well for Algebra 1 with the instruction and homework accountability this class provides.
