Conversational Spanish Beginners
We start with the ABCs, letter sounds, useful vocabulary, and listening to Spanish stories for “ear training.” Students will participate in “assisted” oral presentations and “around the table” discussions on given topics. Reading, listening, and writing are part of homework, but this should not be considered a writing class. Speaking in Spanish is the goal. Señora T likes to keep the class size small, so students get as much “talk” time as possible. Weekly homework is as important as class time. Both classes are assigned the same work with appropriate grade-level accommodations.
NOTE: for ALL Spanish classes, there is only one requirement – the STUDENT must be the one who wants to learn Spanish!
