Health , Wellness, & Anatomy (6th-8th)
This semester course is designed to introduce 4th through 8th grade students to essential health and wellness concepts. Through interactive lessons, labs, and discussions, students will explore various aspects of physical and mental well-being, nutrition, exercise, community service, relationships, and time management. The course aims to empower students with knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about their health and contribute positively to their communities.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Understand the basics of nutrition and make healthy food choices
- Recognize the importance of regular physical activity and its benefits
- Develop strategies for maintaining good mental health and managing stress
- Explore the value of community service and its impact on personal well-being
- Understand the basics of healthy relationships with family and friends
- Apply time management skills to balance school, activities, and personal time
- Participate in hands-on labs to reinforce health and wellness concepts
Cost:
If paying private funds $200 due on the 1st day of class.
If using charter funds $250.00 per semester.

There is an additional $20 required to reserve your spot and for supplies for this class, like your Health & Wellness Journal, etc.
If you pay before the 1st day of school using private funds your will only pay $180.00
NOTE: If you have a sibling in the class there is a $50 discount when using private funds.
