Beginning Spanish (K-3)

Hello! Let’s have fun while learning Spanish!

It is such a gift for our children to learn a second language. It helps with brain development, memory , critical thinking and problem solving. This class will assist students with learning some of the basic Spanish words such as numbers, colors, days of the weeks, body parts, months of the year and seasons of the year with fun songs, activities and games. In this class we do engaging activities like search and find, sharing time: bring a toy or stuffed animal to show our friends and learn how to say it in Spanish. Vamos a divertirnos juntos!

Books:

To start we will be using the traditional books that my mom used to teach me Spanish;

Coquito, a best-seller for over 60 years, has taught over 40 million children to read and write in Spanish, demonstrating its effectiveness and reliability in literacy education.

We will also be using the workbook The Complete Spanish Workbook for Kids by Modern Kid Press.
