Medieval History (6th-8th)
This once-a-week, 1.5-hour class for 6th–8th graders exploring the fascinating world of medieval history, from the fall of Rome through the Reformation. Students will journey through a time of knights, castles, faith, and cultural change, gaining a strong understanding of key events and ideas in an age-appropriate and engaging way.
Each class will include a mix of reading historical passages together, watching short videos, and participating in guided discussions. Students will answer thoughtful questions that encourage them not just to learn what happened, but to consider the “why” and “how” behind historical events—helping them develop critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the past.
Homework will be assigned occasionally, but not every week. Assignments may include short paragraphs, a few presentations, and the occasional paper, all designed to reinforce learning without overwhelming students.
This class goes beyond memorizing facts—it invites students to explore, question, and connect with history in a meaningful and engaging way.
Tuition: $250 per semester
