FAQs

Q: Is EUREKA! a school? Or a co-op?

A: No, actually, EUREKA! is neither a school, nor a co-op. We offer K-12th classes and an in-person community to support homeschooling families.

Q: Do you accept charter funds?

A: No, we do not accept charter funds.

Q: I noticed EUREKA! has a PSP. Do we have to join the PSP to join the EUREKA! community?

A: No, the PSP is an optional opportunity that provides a variety of resources, including record keeping assistance, curriculum counseling, and consultations, so parents get the support and encouragement they need along this fun, yet unpredictable journey we call homeschooling!

Q: Is this a drop-off program?

A: It is not a drop-off program for kids thirteen and under. Families must stay on campus if their children are thirteen or under. Parents of teens fourteen or older may drop them off for classes. However, the parents of the teens are still responsible for them, both on and off campus.

Q: How much is the registration/membership fee?

A: It is currently $310.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept for the registration fee?

A: We accept ACH Bank Transfers, Credit Cards, Apple Pay, Paypal, and Venmo.

Q: Am I required to volunteer?

A: We desire all families to volunteer two hours every four weeks. However, if that’s not possible, families may choose to pay a $200 opt out fee per semester.

Q: If I have multiple children, do all of them have to take a class to be on campus?

A: No, each family is required to pay the registration (aka: membership) fee to become a member of EUREKA, and then at least one child must take one class. That is all.

Q: Are my children allowed on campus even if they are not in a class?

A: Yes, if your family is a member of EUREKA!, then your children may take advantage of our outdoor spaces and sports center when they are not in class. If they are teens, they can hang out in our teen center. However, any child thirteen and under must have a parent/guardian on campus.

Q: Do I follow the same registration guidelines if my children are preschool aged (four years old or younger)?

A: No, in that case, email us at info@eurekahomeschoolers.com and let us know. We’ll then send you the appropriate paperwork for your preschool aged child.

Q: Why is the registration fee the same for one child as it is for three?

A: The registration fee covers our fixed overhead costs: primarily rent, insurance, and administration. These costs are required to operate the building and protect our members, regardless of how many students are in a specific classroom.
