Beverly Wolterbeek has been teaching instrumental music for over 30 years. She graduated from CSU Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in music and a teaching credential. As a public school teacher, she took her middle school bands and orchestras across the country winning many festival competitions.

Beverly was Music Program Coordinator for the San Gabriel Unified School District, has been a guest lecturer at CSULA, coached with PYSO, and for the last 14 years has taught homeschool bands and orchestras. She and her husband have been happily married for 26 years, and homeschooled both their daughters K-12. Her husband and daughters also enjoy playing music, and wild Irish fiddle music can sometimes be heard wafting from their house!
