Diane Harmel

Foothill Academy of Vocal Arts (FAVA) is a local non-profit choir program founded in 2006 by music director, Dianne Harmel.  FAVA provides choral singing training and performance opportunities to children and adults in their various choirs.  FAVA is pleased to offer a section of Children’s Choir as well as Vocal Workshop for Teens at EUREKA.  

 

FAVA’s children’s and teen classes are taught by Ms. Harmel who also has a busy private voice studio separate from FAVA.  She was on the Voice Faculty at Azusa Pacific University for 20+ years, and is Past-President and current Voice Chair for Music Teachers Association of California, Pasadena Branch. Her education includes a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from USC and a MA in Music, Vocal Pedagogy emphasis, from CSULA.
