Marissa Twomey has worked in education for twelve years. She taught elementary school for seven years and has recently worked in creating academic curriculum. Marissa has a Masters Degree in Teaching and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. She completed her undergraduate degree at University of Southern California — Fight On!

Marissa believes that no matter the learning style or background, every student has the ability to thrive in their education. She believes that learning should be engaging and fun. Marissa aims to help students become confident, lifelong learners. She is an avid reader, travel enthusiast, die-hard Laker fan, and most importantly, new mother. She and her husband recently moved back to LA from London to welcome their baby girl into the world.
