Beginning Korean (6th-12th)
According to the Foreign Service Institute, Korean is categorized as one of the most difficult languages to learn for English-speakers. However, with the recent surge in interest in K-Pop and K-Dramas, learning Korean seems like one of the most trendy things to do! Elementary Korean introduces students to the basics of the Korean Language, both spoken and written.
Students will learn how to speak and write Korean by practicing commonly used words, phrases, and sentences. Students will also learn about the life and culture of Korea through games, songs, stories and media. The content of the class follows the California World Language Standards for K-12. For students who wish to earn a high school credit, there will be additional assignments and tests.
Cost: $250/semester
