This is a continuing conversational class where students participate in “around the table” discussions and “assisted” oral presentations on given topics in a peer-friendly environment. Activities and games encourage talking in class. Where else do you hear that?! Reading, listening, and writing are part of homework, but this should not be considered a writing class. Improving Spanish speaking skills is the goal. Señora T likes to keep the class size small so students get as much “talk” time as possible. Weekly homework is as important as class time. Both classes are assigned the same work with appropriate grade-level accommodations.

For all Spanish classes: there is only one requirement- THE STUDENT must be the one who wants to learn Spanish!

NOTE: All NEW students’ Spanish speaking skills will be evaluated by Señora T. (Evaluation is not needed for Beginner students.)

9th-12th is for students in 9th-12th grades who speak some Spanish or have completed a Beginner class with Señora T or elsewhere. Class is 1 hour. No textbook required. No credit/units offered.

5th-8th is for students in 5th-8th grades who speak some Spanish or have completed a Beginner class with Señora T or elsewhere. Class is 1 hour. No textbook required.
