High School Spanish 1

This introductory course explores basic language patterns and Vocabulary. This class is designed to help students attain proficiency level 1 in four basic skills- speaking, listening, reading and writing- developed through enjoyable materials in visually focused topics contexts that students can easily relate to their own experiences. Introduce vocabulary through lively illustrations, reinforce grammar through targeted fun narratives, acquaint students with Spanish culture and enhance oral skills through illustrated conversations.

 

Topics covered include: How to express actions; present tense of AR verbs ; How to ask questions; The numbers ; how to count in Spanish, telling time; Adjectives; how to describe things in Spanish; Days and months ; Weather Expressions; Seasons. Vocabulary associated with school , friends , family and names for people and grammar concepts appropriate for level 1 and much more.

 
Grade level 8th – 12th ; 1 year class is 10 credits
Class is 1 hour once a week.
 

Cost: $300 per semester if paying out of pocket Cash or Venmo @Eunice-F-25 ( text Class and students name )
