Tanya Robinson

I was born in the beautiful country of Sri Lanka and spent most of my childhood overseas as a missionary kid. My Sri Lankan blood is probably why I love my morning cup of Ceylon tea! I met my husband in high school, went on to get my B.A. and teaching credential in English, and eventually taught all four grades at a local high school. My classes ranged from basic English classes to specialized literature courses.

Once I had children, I was highly influenced by the book For the Children’s Sake by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay, as well as the ideals and philosophies of Charlotte Mason. My husband was actually the first one to suggest homeschooling (I thought he was crazy). I educated my children at home for all of their school years (K-graduation) and it is a joy to see them embark on their own journeys through life!
