David Potts — Mr. Potts to his students — is passionate about educating and inspiring young minds. After graduating from Cal State Northridge, he worked in entertainment at 20th Century Fox, graphic design for his community church, and as a 3rd-grade teaching assistant. His career then led him to the YMCA, where he developed youth and family programs that met the needs of diverse communities.

Now homeschooling with his wife, Marguerite, and their two daughters, David combines his skills in multimedia management and community engagement to empower students and help them reach their full potential.

David is also the SPIRIT COORDINATOR at EUREKA!, the dude overseeing the multitude of fun-filled events and activities at our new location, when he’s not teaching class.  When you see him, be sure to introduce yourself and find out what’s happening!
