Advanced Drawing (7th-12th)

This class will be a deeper dive into the mindset and practice of Drawing. It is the intention of this small class to allow individual directing in terms of process and practice as well as a theology of image making and individualized expression.

Translation: This small class of 8 people, which will be curated through a portfolio review, will develop and strengthen drawing techniques through a first semester of group drawing assignments mostly working with graphite and charcoal, and a second semester of individualized projects, while having discussions about faith and where we draw inspiration from.

The Portfolio review process will entail a review of current work and a possible conversation with the student to determine their interest and willingness. Priority will be given to seniors and juniors, but all interested should submit a portfolio for consideration.

Tuition: $250 per semester
