Sheree Cloer

Sheree Cloer is a married mom of three girls and a boy. She has been homeschooling since 2010. Sheree was born in Taiwan, raised in California, met her husband while attending medical school in Texas, and returned to California in 2002 to complete her residency in family medicine. She has been a stay-at-home mom since 2008, while pregnant with her second daughter.

As an active member of her church for more than thirty years, Sheree has served as a youth group leader for junior high and high school students, and taught Sunday school to preschool through fifth grade. In recent years, Ms. Sheree has taught science in her church homeschool co-op to students in second through eighth grades, including Socratic discussion of ethics as it pertains to current events in medical and scientific research & application.

Ms. Sheree has always enjoyed art, crafts, and handiwork. She remembers watching her mom sew for hours on an industrial speed sewing machine, which she was forbidden to use for many years. As an adult, she first taught herself how to knit from booklets, in order to make a baby blanket and booties for her first niece. She has now enjoyed knitting and crocheting handmade gifts for more than 22 years. With her children participating in musical theater, Sheree has also been using her skills to make, adjust, and repair costumes and props for their amazing shows.
